TV Table or Sofa Back Table

TV Table or Sofa Back Table
This redwood and mixed component TV Table or Sofa Back Table is a one of kind art table handmade by the artist in Oakland, CA in 2015. An Apple server motherboard is embedded in the surface on top right and is softly illuminated from underneath by LED lights controlled by a toggle switch on the front control panel. The lucite panels on either side of the control panel are illuminated from behind by LED lights also controlled by a toggle switch on the control panel. The control panel at bottom front center is a vintage sound modulator unit repurposed with toggle switches to control the lights. A section behind the control panel approximately 1 cubic foot is enclosed as a hidden compartment and can only be opened with a magnetic key (included). The table is sturdily built and can support up to approximately 80” LED TV. The 3 visible storage compartment doors at top front fold down for access. The open compartments at bottom are sized to accommodate standard receivers and other video components and include brush cable passthroughs for easy cable management and access to the surge protected power bar mounted on lower back of unit.
